Refreshly

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Refreshly runs entirely in your browser. It has no server.

What Refreshly stores

Only on your device: your refresh settings and the pages you choose to auto-start.

What Refreshly reads

Nothing by default. Plain auto refresh only reloads the tab; it never reads the page.

If you turn on an alert, Smart Pause, Keep Scroll or “stop if the page goes to another address” for a site, Chrome asks you to give access to that one site. Refreshly then checks that page's text on your computer, to look for the words you chose and to notice typing in its form fields. That text never leaves your device. You can remove the access any time in Refreshly's settings.

What Refreshly sends anywhere

Nothing. Refreshly has no server, no account and nothing to buy, so no data ever leaves your device.

What Refreshly doesn't do

No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no selling or sharing of data.
